DR sync protects you from a region going down. RAautomiTe Backup protects you from everything else.
RAautomiTe Backup takes scheduled, versioned snapshots of your CCaaS configuration and keeps them for as long as you need - so a bad deploy, an accidental deletion or a corrupted flow is a quick restore, not a scramble to rebuild from memory.
One backup engine, four capabilities
RAautomiTe Backup takes, versions and restores CCaaS configuration snapshots - independent of failover. Four capabilities make that happen - each is covered in its own section below.
Scheduled Snapshots
Automatic, versioned backups of your live configuration - on a schedule or on demand.
Granular, Point-in-Time Restore
Restore a single object or an entire org to any captured snapshot.
Retention & Compliance
Keep backups for as long as your policy requires, with a full audit trail.
Multi-Cloud & Multi-Vendor
One backup engine across regions, clouds and Genesys, Amazon Connect & NICE.
RAautomiTe Backup runs on the platforms RACube already delivers
RAautomiTe Backup is a RACube product that runs on the same platforms we design and operate - Genesys Cloud and Amazon Connect. It connects to your live org on a schedule, using the unique RAautomiTe Sync engine to pull a full configuration snapshot, versions it, and stores it independently of production. When something needs to come back, you restore from any snapshot - to the same org or a different one.
Scheduled Snapshots - a versioned copy of your configuration, always current
RAautomiTe Backup takes a full configuration snapshot on a schedule you define - hourly, daily or before major changes - or on demand before a risky deploy. Each snapshot is versioned and stored as portable flat files, independent of the live org, so a problem in production can never take the backup down with it.
Because snapshots are incremental-aware, you get a complete history without paying for a full copy every time - just the changes since the last capture.
What it delivers
Scheduled or on-demand - capture on a defined cadence, or trigger a snapshot manually before a risky change.
Versioned history - every snapshot is a distinct, timestamped version you can browse and compare.
Stored independently - snapshots live outside the production org, safe from whatever happens to it.
Portable flat files - backups are portable across clouds and estates, not locked to one platform.
Incremental-aware - efficient captures that build a complete history without redundant full copies.
Granular, Point-in-Time Restore - roll back exactly what broke
When something goes wrong - a bad deploy, an accidental deletion, a corrupted flow - RAautomiTe Backup lets you restore precisely what you need: a single queue, flow or user, or the entire org, to any captured snapshot. There is no need to rebuild from memory or reconstruct configuration by hand.
Restores can target the org they came from or a different one, which makes RAautomiTe Backup useful for more than incident recovery - cloning a known-good state into a test environment is the same restore flow.
What it delivers
Object-level restore - roll back a single queue, flow, user or data table without touching the rest of the org.
Full-org restore - recover an entire configuration state to a chosen point in time.
Restore anywhere - target the original org, a different org, or a test/UAT environment.
Diff before you restore - compare a snapshot against the current state before committing.
Fast turnaround - no manual rebuild - a restore is a guided, repeatable operation.
What you can restore
| Scope | Example | Typical use |
|---|---|---|
| Single object | A queue, flow, data table or user | Undo one bad change without touching anything else |
| Object group | A set of related flows or routing rules | Roll back a feature release |
| Full org | The entire configuration state | Recover from major corruption or accidental deletion |
| Cross-org | Restore a snapshot into a different org | Seed a test/UAT environment with known-good config |
Retention & Compliance - keep history as long as you need it
Retention is configurable per policy, not fixed - keep daily snapshots for weeks, weekly for months, and long-term archives for as long as your compliance program requires. Every snapshot and every restore is logged, so you have a defensible record of what was backed up, when, and what was recovered.
That combination - configurable retention plus a clean audit trail - turns backup from a best-effort safety net into evidence you can show an auditor.
What it delivers
Configurable retention - set how long snapshots are kept, per tier or policy.
Long-term archives - retain historical snapshots for compliance windows, not just recent recovery.
Full audit trail - every snapshot and restore is logged - who, what and when.
Tamper-resistant storage - backups are stored independently, protected from changes in the live org.
Exportable evidence - produce a record of backup and restore activity on demand.
Multi-Cloud & Multi-Vendor - one backup engine for the whole estate
RAautomiTe Backup is not tied to a single org, cloud or vendor. Snapshots can be stored and restored across AWS, Azure and GCP estates, and out to non-production environments so a known-good state can seed dev, test or QA. Flat-file backups keep everything portable across a multi-cloud, multi-region footprint.
Today it supports Genesys Cloud and Amazon Connect, so a single backup engine can protect a mixed CCaaS estate instead of leaving each platform to its own manual export process.
What it delivers
Multi-cloud storage - store and restore snapshots across AWS, Azure and GCP estates.
Non-prod seeding - restore a known-good snapshot into dev, test or QA.
Multi-vendor coverage - Genesys Cloud and Amazon Connect supported.
Flat-file portability - portable exports across multi-cloud, multi-region estates.
Independent of RAautomiTe DR sync - runs standalone, or alongside RAautomiTe for full protection against both region failure and configuration mistakes.
Don't rebuild from memory. Restore from a snapshot.
